The people that drive the trucks with the huge red shovels on the front are a special breed of people. They wake up late, and go to bed as the sun only begins to rise. There are a lot of them, all dedicated to cleaning the snow off the snowed in drive ways, private drives, parking lots, and huge public streets. You may say, that there is an army of snow plowers that are ready to answer the call of the citizens for help against their old nemesis - the winter snow storm.
When it begins to snow, cars with two wheel drives begin to have difficulty. The sedans, even those with all wheel drives begin to get stuck when the snow reaches the ground clearance height. At that point, not much can help the stranded drivers. Snow begins to pile on the driveways and may times feels like it just keeps going and going and going. But it's not the Energizer bunny - it's just snow that keeps going. Just when you think there's no hope and that important business meeting on the other side of town may not be reachable, a savior rushes onto your street.
It's about 10 or 11 pm and a wave of snow rushes over like water after a boat makes a sharp turn.
